The soapberries are really quite impressive.  When we returned home from picking them up I took a 5 gallon pail, filled it with cold water and dropped in 6 berries along with a load of shop rags ("let's see how good these things are").  Rags that had been used to wipe oil, clean grease fittings, wax cars, etc.  I let them sit for 5 days and then dumped everything into the washer.  I added a couple more 'berries' and ran a 'heavy load' with hot wash/cold rinse.  Viola...clean rags and no residue in the washer.  I was so impressed that I took the long neglected portable grill from the camper and cleaned it last weekend.  Boiled up 4 berries in a quart of water for 15-20 min, let cool some, and sprayed it on the mess.  I let it sit for ~5 min and took a putty knife to it.  Really didn't need the knife as all the gunk just lifted off.  Sprayed a paper towel with the solution and wiped the remaining residue.  Mind you this grill has been used for 2 years with little cleaning except for the grates.  There is still some staining where stuff baked on, but the grease is gone.  As a final test, I took some 'famous orange pumice cleaner' and scrubbed the grill to see if I could get more stain off.  Virtually no difference.  You have a winner here.  We will recommend your products to our friends for sure.  Oh...Mary has been using them in the laundry too and is happy with the results.  We have to find some empty spray bottles so we can make up some solution for general cleaning.  Umm.....wonder if it would work on the gunk around an engine.  Thanks for a great product! -Bruce and Mary B. Fantastic.  Easy. Eco-Friendly.  Strong.  We can't say enough about how truly great soapberries are!  With active sport enthusiast teenagers, a husband who is always outside, and a small farm, I need a productive laundry cleaner.  Soapberries have handled every laundry challenge I've put them through.  My main concern at first, however, was for my child with food allergies (nut allergies).  I was worried that soapberries may have allergens that might cause him to have a reaction.  After thoroughly investigating and running trials, soapberries have proven themselves safe and effective.  The soapberries are gentle on his skin yet are strong cleaners.  Even my skeptical teens are convinced.  They used to like the flowery chemical smell of detergents, but we all now enjoy the clean freshness of soapberries.  A thousand "thank yous" for providing us with a superior product.  -Deb D. I am absolutely loving my soapberries! I am very active and play soccer and run often, so needless to say my clothes are pretty stinky and dirty. My clothes smelled great and were as clean as can be after using the soapberries.  I have to do my laundry at the laundry mat and it made my life so much easier! I don't have to lug around a big heavy bottle of detergent anymore. I can't believe how long the soapberries last and that I can easily put the remains in my compost! I was a bit dubious when I first picked up a sample bag. "Soapberries?"  I asked.  "Save yourself the trip," said a customer next to me, "you'll love them."  So sucker that I am, I bought a pound bag.  Just to try.  One laundry load in and I was hooked.  I never knew how good clean smelled!  I am so glad I didn't buy the smaller sample bag!  Since then I bought some for to a friend who has also gone crazy about them.  She cleaned all he son's hockey equipment!  You know how cloth napkins get grungy smelling?  I have been looking for ways to clean them for years!  I can't wait to try all their uses!  Thank you for sharing these wonderful berries with us!  -Wendy H. When I ran across an old friend on facebook and saw that he and his wife were selling an environmentally friendly laundry product, I was really excited.  I do my best to use environmentally healthy products, and to reduce my impact on the Earth, but I hadn't found any laundry detergent that I was really comfortable with in that regard.  My son and I also have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful about which products we use.  I ordered the soapberries right away and was thrilled to find out that they cleaned my clothes just as well as traditional detergent.  I will be a soapberry user for many years to come!  - Danielle C. Soapberries travel well! They aren't messy and wouldn't take up any room. I almost brought some over the winter holidays when we visited family and wish I had. My son and husband had an itchy reaction to something. We used a 'free' detergent to rewash some things but they were still feeling very sensitive.
